Violet Goodwin, age 89, passed away at the Arlington Rehabilitation and Health Center.
Originally from Louisiana, Violet moved to Arlington in 1999 to live with Virginia and son-in-law Jim Hatch. She was full of sugar and spice, "Granny" was proud of her southern roots and enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, bird watching and spending time with her "grandbabies" whom she loved dearly.
A private family ceremony will be held at a future date.
She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Duncan.
