Daniel J. Langheld
Funeral services for Daniel J. Langheld, 61, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Kent Craft officiating. Burial will follow at Minden Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m., today, February 20.
Mr. Langheld was born July 14, 1944, in Minden to Christopher and Mineola Langheld. He died Friday, February 17 in Minden. he was owner and operator of Ark-La-Tex Fence Company for 35 years.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Christopher and Mineola Langheld, and two sisters, Margret Scheiern and Nelwyn King.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Wanda Tucker Langheld; son, Cory Langheld; daughter, Kim Taylor and husband Barry, all of Minden; sisters, Rubye Watson of Minden, Violet Goodwin of Washington and Carolyn Duncan of Baytown, Texas; brother, Christopher Langheld of Ozark, Ala.; and grandchildren, Justin Cruse, Zackary Langheld, Sarah Langheld and Tabitha Langheld.
Pallbearers will be Ron Hudson, Gene Howard, Mike Kennon, Joe Dowden, Jamie Tucker and Noel Tucker.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
