Richard Cornell was born Jan. 26, 1804, died Feb. 11, 1879, aged 75 years and 16 days. He was born in Clark county, O., and married to Rebecca Humphrey, Nov. 22, 1827, in Logan county, O. Removed to Elkhart county, Ind., in 1833, from there to White county in 1855, where he remained until the time of his death. He was in his usual health until the Friday evening before his death, when he was attacked with a chill, followed by fever, resulting in death on the following Tuesday.
