Obituary in Chattanooga Times, Aug 24, 1950: "Brown - Mrs. Arbana DeRossett, 85, of Grandview, Tenn., died at the Rockwood Hospital, Wednesday afternoon. She is survived by two sons, Frank Brown of Spring City and Fred Brown of Knoxville; three daughters, Miss Bertha Brown of Atlanta, Mrs. Pearl Grasham of Grandview, and Mrs. Susie Kincannon of Spring City: 22 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; one brother, Sampson DeRossett of Crossville; one sister, Mrs. Ollie [sic] Bristow of Chattanooga. Funeral services will be held at the St. Clair Church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock... Interment in the Long Cemetery... The body will be at the home of the son, Frank Brown, north of Spring City, until the hour of the service...."
