M.F. DeRossett, 82, died at his home in Frankston at 10:45 o'clock Friday morning following a lingering illness. Mr. DeRossett moved from Tennessee 62 years ago. He had been a resident of Frankston for 41 year. He was a farmer and member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the home in Frankston at 3 o'clock. Interment followed in the Wofford cemetery, Frankston.
Pallbearers were Sant Perry, Nay Perry, Jack Partlow, John L. Slover, Reagan Jones and Larkin Smith.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sallie DeRossett; a son, Gussie DeRossett of Frankston; two daughters, Mrs. W.G. Bailey of Jacksonville and Mrs. C.E. Benge of Frankston and eight grandchildren.
