Margaret married Marcellus Colburn Skinner about 1880 in PA. They had 13 children: Abraham, Adaline, Earl, George, James, Olaf, Sylvester, Minnie, Gertrude, David, Merle, Ina, and an unk. named infant son. They lived on the Skinner family farm next to the Hickman Chapel and Cemetery.

Mrs. Margaret Skinner widow of the late Marcellus C. Skinner died at her home near Hickman Chapel Thursday evening, November 16 after a lingering illnes. She was a daughter of Zachariah Moon a Civil War veteran who was killed in battle. She is survived by six sons, James of Dayton, Ohio, Sylvester and Abraham of Confluence, George of Mill Run, Earle of Mill Run R.F.D. and Olaf at home. One daughter, Mrs. Ada Tissue of Connellsville also survives and one brother, Zack Moon of Connellsville and two half-brothers, David Scarlett of Alabama and Edward of Mill Run. The funeral was in charge of Rev. Morton, pastor, of the Hickman Chapel church, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Margaret Moon Skinner, 77 years old, lifelong resident of Mill Run where she was held in high esteem by her neighbors, died at 9:50 o'clock Thursday night at her home. Mrs. Skinner was born April 6, 1862. She had been a member of the Hickman Chapel Church for 38 years and had taken an active part in church work. She endeared herself to the community by her willingness to give freely of her time whenever sickness accurred at the homes of friends and neighbors. She was a widow of the late Marcellus C. Skinner, who preceded her in death December 22, 1933.
