Mrs. Adeline Drawz, Former Resident, Dies Early Today



Mrs. Adeline Luella Drawz, 83, of Stockton, Calif., former Jamestown resident and wife of the late Charles D. Drawz, died early today in a Stockton hospital. She was a pioneer of Stutsman County.

The body will be brought to the Eddy Funeral home. Arrangements for services are pending.

Born May 6, 1887, in Rose Township, near Spiritwood, Mrs. Drawz was the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. John F. Lueck. She attended Stutsman County schools and was married to Charles D. Drawz Jan. 25, 1911 in Jamestown. They lived here until 1912 when they moved to Edmunds. In 1916 they moved to their farm in Lippert Township and in 1938 they returned to Jamestown to reside. Mr. Drawz died Dec. 11, 1949. Mrs. Drawz had lived in Stockton, Calif., since 1968. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. O.W. (William) Erickson (Janet), Stockton, Calif.; two granddaughters, Kathy and Julie Erickson; five brothers and sisters, Elmer and Oscar Lueck, Miss Alice Lueck and Mrs. C.H. Meier (Amanda), all of Jamestown, and Arnold Lueck, Edmunds.
