Columbus C. Bray, 80, Rt. 3, Nancy, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the Lake Cumberland Medical Center following a short illness.
Born Jan. 13, 1899, at Ingle, Ky., he was the son of the former Nannie Eads and Joe Bray, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was formerly married to Calutha Sayers Bray, and she preceded him in death. He later married the former Flora Tarter. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include nine children, Ricky Bray, Shelbyville, Ind., Ralph Bray, Norwood, Ohio, Boyd Bray, Peoria, Ill., Ernest Bray, Somerset, , Owen Bray, Pam Bray, and Vera Redmond, all of Nancy, Opal Auterson, Ludlow, Ill., and Becky Presley, Somerset; a sister, Bessie New, Somerset, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Bray; two brothers, Johnny Bray and George Bray, and a sister, Margaret Rainwater.
Bray was a farmer and member of the Old Fashioned Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Daugherty officiating.
Burial was in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Pulaski Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
