Boyd Bray, age 84, formerly of Somerset, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Port Orange, Florida. He was born on March 25, 1929 in Ingle, Kentucky to the late Columbus Bray and Colutha Sayers Bray. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Bray of Port Orang, Florida; a son, Gary Bray (Barbara) of Port Orange, Florida; two grandchildren, Jessica Bray of Daytona, Florida and Sarah Glawe (Matt) of Texas; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Ernie Bray of Somerset, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and close friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will be at 3:00 P.M. Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester and Rev. Roger Hall officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Highland Cemetery in Williamsburg. Military Graveside Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin, Kentucky.
