Ira Jasper Hartley, 47, machinist, died at his home, 104 Janney Ave., Thursday morning following a short illness of pneumonia. He had been a resident of Muncie 35 years.
Surviving are three sons, Earl W., Walter J., and Gerald E. Hartley, all of Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Coburn, Muncie, and Marjorie June Hartley, at home; the mother, Mrs. Etta Hartley; two brothers, Charles and Harry Hartley; three sisters, Mrs. Audrey Campbell and Mrs. Ethel Tootman, all of Muncie and Mrs. Myrtle Curry, Hartford City, and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Hartley died June 18.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the Eighth Street Tabernacle, the Rev. R.O. Bayer in charge, assisted by the Rev. Earl Rice. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The body will be removed to the home of the daughter, Mrs. Coburn, this morning from the Meeks mortuary.
