Thelma Hartley Coburn, 74, formerly of 217 Janney Ave., died Saturday at the Masonic Home in Franklin after an extended illness. She had made her home there for about 21 years.
She was the widow of Joseph Coburn, who died in 1960. He was active in Muncie Lodge 433, F&AM. Mrs. Coburn was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Joan (Mrs. Harry) Costerison, Muncie, Carolyn (Mrs. Russell) Walker, Springport, and Beverly Hasse, Indianapolis; a sister, Marjorie Barnes, Muncie; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel, with Rev. Virgil Brown officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Calling hours at the mortuary are 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday.
