YOUNG CHILDREN ARE MOTHERLESS
Loss of Wife Darkens Home of Young Glencoe Farmer

The late Mrs. Fannie Dascher, wife of Albert Alsleben living one mile north of Glencoe, whose death due to influenza-pneumonia following a week's sickness was chronicled in last week's edition of the Enterprise, was 24 years of age at the time of her demise. She was born June 8, 1894, and died November 17 last. Private funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. E. Kolbe on the following Monday.

The deceased was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Simeon (Mary) Dascher, and after the death of her parents she spent many of her girlhood years with her sister, Mrs. John Ohland at Langdon, North Dakota, receiving her education in the public school at that place.

She married Albert Alsleben on June 12, 1912, and two daughters Evelyne (5 years) and Mildred (2 years) are left motherless with the grief-stricken husband. Her death is made all the more deplorable and lamentable considering the tender age of these little ones.

She is survived by four sisters and seven brothers; they are Mrs. Frank (Anna) Stresemann, Winthrop; Christ Dascher, Buffalo Lake; Matt Dascher, Hutchinson; Mrs. John Ohland, Kincaid, Saskatchewan; Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Howe, Velva, North Dakota; Albert Dascher, Hannover, North Dakota; Henry Dascher, Spokane, Washington; Fred Dascher, Biscay; Mrs. George (Clara) Fleischer, Brainerd; and Charles Dascher and Simeon Dascher of Glencoe.

The late Mrs. Alsleben was beloved and respected by neighbors and friends who deeply regret her death and sympathize with the husband and children in their irreparable loss.
