Obituary in The State, Columbia, SC, 15 Oct 1977: Mrs. Dora Amick Price, 79, of 2730 River Drive, and widow of Dewey David Price died Friday at Providence Hospital. Born in Lexington County she was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Sallie Huffstetler Amick. She was a member of the Reformation Lutheran Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Helen Granzow of Newport News, Va. and Mrs. Irma Raines and Mrs. Azalie Sharpe of Columbia; three sons, Murray Price of Lexington, Wesley Price of Cayce and Billy Price of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Maye Koon and Mrs. Lillian Mohr of Columbia; two brothers, Heber Amick and Ray Amick of Columbia; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Reformation Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Stafford L. Swing. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David and Jerry Price, Bobby Raines, Sammy Sharpe, Paul Granzow and Doug Cobb. Talber-Shives Funeral Home is in charge.
