Leola C. Meadows, 87, of Beckley, died 6:14 a.m. Sunday, June 15, 1997, in a Beckley hospital following a short illness.
Born Jan. 11, 1910 at Shady Spring, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Calloway and Minnie Waddell Farley.
Mrs. Meadows was a homemaker, worked in the housekeeping department at B.A.R.H. for 17 years and was supervisor of the housekeeping department at the Southern West Virginia Clinic for more than 10 years.
She was of the Primitive Baptist faith and was a lifelong resident of Raleigh County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Moody Meadows; two sons, Jack Emerson and Kenneth Pane Meadows; two grandsons, David Kenneth and Keith Meadows; three sisers, Grace Wilkinson, Lillie Harris and Arlene Farley; and three brothers, Roy, Orin and Carlyle Farley.
