Michael Earl Meadows, Sr., died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at his home following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on Jan. 9, 1947, in Piney View, W.Va., and was the son of the late Moody and Leola Farley Meadows of Beckley, W.Va. He was a graduate of Raleigh County, W.Va., schools and was retired from the U.S. Army where he served his country for 26 years. He served in Vietnam during the war.
