OLGA MAE KLEINFELDT
Mrs. Olga Mae Kleinfeldt, a resident of Chariton for many years, died after an illness of several years, at a Mt. Pleasant hospital Thursday, May 18, at the age of 59 years, six months and 14 days.
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Clifford Carter, were held at the Miley Funeral Home Saturday, May 20. Pall bearers were Merle Burson, Lewis Ryan, Earl Pierschbacher, Paul Kingsbury, Sr., Joe Thomas and Ralph Robinson.
Olga Ashby, daughter of Robert and Nellie Ashby, was born at Watseka, Ill., on November 4, 1890, later moving to Enid, Okla., where on December 20, 1909, she was united in marriage to Walter Kleinfeldt, who survives. To this union four children were born, all of whom survive. They are Nellie Reeves, of Knoxville; Ferne Flanders, of Elmhurst, Ill.; Donald, of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and Pearle Burson, of Chariton.
Other survivors are seven grandsons, Larry and Michael Flanders, Donald and Jerry Kleinfeldt, Freddie and Jerry Burson and Charles Reeves; two sisters, Mabel Noel, of Chariton and Gladys Chappell, of Corydon; two brothers, Forrest, of Russell and Schuyler, of Chariton. Also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother. She was a member of the United Brethren church. A loving mother and a wonderful friend, she will be greatly missed by all.
