She was the second daughter (4th child) of Frank & Nellie [Laws] Snyder and called Daisy. She married Bill Moring 29 June 1935 in Sedgwick Co, KS, the parents of 5 children. In the early '40s they moved to California because that's where the Army sent Bill. They settled in the Los Angeles County area. She was a homemaker, and their home was the usual gathering place for friends & relatives on weekends. Bill owned a large boat and loved to fish in the ocean and would take anyone who wanted to join him. The women gathered in the kitchen fixing meals and baking pies, the men gathered in the dining room playing country music on their instruments, the kids played games in the yard or sat around on the floor listening to the music or joining in with the songs. After dinner the men gathered at the dining room table for poker, women did the dishes while exchanging news of the week in the kitchen and it was a great time for all, wish I could remember all the old stories. Bill passed on their 32nd Anniversary, while on a vacation trip to Kansas & Oklahoma, to visit family and friends.
Daisy went to work for the first time at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Co. in Long Beach, CA. She met & married Ralph 25 July 1968 in Long Beach, CA., he was a retired Chief Petty Officer, US Navy. He fit in well and immediately became an intricate part of all our families. Ralph and Daisy would have been married 35 yrs. in July. They loved traveling and family gatherings and are alive in our hearts and memories every day. No children from this marriage.
