Macy J. Montgomery, native of Hendricks County, died Monday (July 3, 1961) at the age of 86 years. He had been in ill health for the past three years. He was born June 17, 1875 on a farm near Lizton, the son of the late John and Elizabeth Montgomery. March 16, 1897 he was married to the former Minnie Elmore, who survives. He was a member of the Lizton K. of P. Lodge and spent his entire life farming in the Middle Township community. Services will be Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Baker Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will be in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery.

March 12, 1898), an infant daughter, Lona, who died at birth (b. Sept. 11, 1900); Mary Elizabeth (b. April 20, 1906) and Zola Fern (B. January 16, 1914). All were born in Hendricks County. Macy died on July 3, 1961 and is buried in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery at Lizton.
