WINCHESTER-Alender M. Suddeth,54,301 S. Meridian St.,died suddenly at 5 p.m. Thursday in Randolph County Hospital. He was employed as a rural mail carrier.
Mr. Suddeth was a member of First United Methodist Church and for 20 years served as a Methodist Youth Fellowship Counselor. He was a former Boy Scout leader and World War II veteran.
Surviving are his wife,Norma;one son,Steve of Winchester, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Winchester First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Garth Shepherd,Rev. Darrell Taggart and Rev. Paul Stephenson. Burial will be in Fountain Park Cemeter.
Walker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
