Norma M. Suddeth, 91, of Winchester passed away on Thursday, Dec. 22,2016 at the St. Vincent Randolph Hospital in Winchester. She was born in Terre Haute, IN on July 29,1923, to Edward and Helen (Trackwell) Byrne.

Norma was a 1943 graduate of Winchester High School. She was the Chief Clerk at Ohio Valley Gas in Winchester, where she retired in 1985. Norma was a member of the Athena Club, the Y's OWLS and a life-time member of the Randolph County YMCA. She and her husband, Alender, directed the Methodist Youth Fellowship from 1955-1975. She enjoyed travelling extensively.

Norma is survived by her son, Stephen (Susan) Suddeth of Dayton, OH; 2 grandsons, Christopher and Jacob both of Dayton; a granddaughter, Lisa (Dan) Waber of Winchester; and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alender Suddeth; a brother, Edward Byrne, JR and her companion of 37 years Irwin "Pete" Starbuck.

Funeral services for Norma will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31,2016 at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with David Cassity officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.

Friends and family may call from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, as well as an hour prior to the Saturday funeral.
