Wilton Sudduth
Landrum -- Services for Wilton Coley Sudduth, 75, of 98 Wilton Way will be held at 3 pm Saturday at Ebenezer - Welcome Baptist Church, with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm today at Wood Mortuary of Greer. Memorials may be made to the church or the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children of Greenville.
Mr. Sudduth died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1992. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Gen. Earl Sudduth and Neicie Howard Sudduth Center. He was a former employee of the Greenville County School District and a member of Tyger Masonic Lodge 190, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, Hejaz Shrine Temple, Order of
Eastern Star Chapter 242 and Ebenezer - Welcome Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon and treasurer for 26 years.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby Robertson Sudduth; daughters Carolyn Turner of Taylors, Margaret Smith of Landrum, and Elaine Sudduth of Columbia; sisters Ruth Bruce of Tryon, NC, and Ruby Rogers of Landrum; half sisters, Gaynell Turner, Joyce Strange and Theresa Williams, all of Landrum; half brothers Ansel Center,Jr., of Kings Mountain, NC, Earl Center of Spencerville, Md., Doynell and Ellis Center, both of Landrum, and
Esley Center of Campobello; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
