Clarence Robinson, 99, of Moberly died Wednesday, September 7, at 6:30 p.m. in North Village Park. He had been a resident there seven years. Born April 26, 1895, in sturgeon, he was the youngest of 15 children of John T. and Parthena Roberts Robinson. Mr. Robinson had been employed by Wabash Railroad more than 40 years. A member of the Trinity United Methodist Church since 1927, he was the oldest living member at the time of his death. On May 13, 1916, he and Georgia Ann Sharp were married in Moberly. She preceded him in death on May 28, 1992. He was also preceded in death by a son, Clarence, and 14 brothers and sisters. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Clyde Burnham, Moberly, and Lillian and James Broaddus, Las Vegas, NV; daughter-in-law, Madeline Robinson, Moberly; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Russell Jones of Trinity United Church will officiate. Visitation will begin at noon Saturday at Cater's.
