"Thalia N. Cain, 83, Lenexa, died Oct 22, 1989, at the home. She was born in Parsons, Kan., and lived in Lincoln, Neb., before she moved to the Kansas City area. Survivors include a son, Norman R. Clark Sr., of the home; five sisters, Miriam Kowrack and Alberta Geistlinger of Lincoln, Elizabeth Schrader, Hiawatha, Kan., Lillian McCulley, Tularosa, N.M., and Virginia Piper, Chariton, Iowa; four grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Newcomer's Overland Park Chapel; burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society."
