Mrs. Ruth Bennett
Georgetown (CNS) - Mrs. Ruth Love Bennett, 76, of 206 Vermilion was found dead at her home at 11:45 a.m. Friday (April 1, 1977). Vermilion County Coroner Gary Ballard said she died of natural causes.
Mrs. Bennett was born Aug. 27, 1900, at Indianola to Joseph A. and Collista Billings Jackson. In 1921, she was married to Wade Bennett, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Vera Elaine Springman of North Liberty, Ind., Dorothy Lee Branner, Gary, Ind., Linda June Peters of Georgetown and Sandra Sue Walker of Phoenix, Ariz.; six sons, Paul Arnold of Westville, Marion Deneen and Perry (should be Terry), both of Houston, Tex., Ivan Leon of Fowler, Ind., Kenneth Ray of San Diego, Calif., and Larry of Perrysville.
Mrs. Bennett has 27 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.
