DEAD AT INDIANOLA

Aged Resident of That Village Passed
Away at His Home There About
Noon Yesterday.

Indianola, Ill., May 1 -- Thomas Boggess, the aged resident of the village who suffered a paralytic stroke at his home here early yesterday morning died at 12:30 o'clock today without having regained consciousness. Mr. Boggess sustained several paralytic strokes within the past few weeks, but survived all but the last.

The deceased was 84 years of age and is survived by two sons and two daughters, as follows: Joseph and Calvin Boggess, residing in this vicinity and Miss Susie Boggess and Mrs. Lou Orendorf who made their home with their aged father.

Mr. Boggess has been a resident of this village for the past twenty years and was highly respected. His wife died about six years ago. He way a life long member of the Christian church and was also a veteran of the Civil War.

The funeral will be held from the Christian church here at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon and the services will probably be conducted by Rev. S. S. Jones of Danville. The burial will follow in the Woodlawn cemetery. (Danville Press Dempcrat, Danville, IL, May 2, 1912)
