Otho R. Dochterman, 70, of Luray, Missouri, died at 10 a.m. August 16, 1978 at Luray. He was born October 6, 1907, in Clark County, Missouri the son of James Andrew and Alice Elizabeth Billings Dochterman.

He married Mauree Hall on June 6, 1931. She preceded him in death, March 27, 1962.

He was a retired bridge foreman in Clark County.

Surviving are his son, Jack; daughter-in-law, Connie, two grandchildren, Brent and Shawna of Donnellson, Iowa; three brothers, Clarence Dochterman, Wyaconda, Missouri, John and Robert Dochterman, both of Arbela, Missouri; one sister, Mrs. Alvin (Helen) Brotherton of Luray, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mauree, an infant son Charles Andrew; one brother, Preston; two sisters, Wavie Waters and Cleo Hawkins.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday morning August 18, at the Karle-Shaffer Funeral Home, Kahoka, Missouri. The Rev. Harry Kearns officiated. Pallbearers were nephews, John Jr. Dochterman, Ronald Dochterman, James Dochterman, Allen Dochterman, J. C. Brotherton, Danny Egbert. Margaret Davis was organist. Burial was in the Combs Cemetery at Luray, Missouri.
