John was my husband's great-granduncle.

He was the son of Charles Karl Von KARNER (1858-1911) and Theresia Grace ZINNIEL Karner (1861-1935).

He married Laura T. OSTROWSKI (1894-1939) in 1916.

Their children together were: Ruth (1912), Valerie (1918), William J. (1919-1989), Mildred (1920), Dolores (1926), and John Ben, Jr. (1929) KARNER.

After Laura's death he was married to Ruth E. KING (1904-1993).
