Mary was my husband's Great-Grandaunt.

She was the oldest of twelve children born to Charles Karl KARNER Theresia Grace ZINNIEL Karner.

Her first marriage was to Peter SCHMITT in June 1906.

Their children together were:

Marie L., John J., and Karl George Schmitt.

Peter died in 1920.

Her second marriage was to John M. CORCORAN in October 1922. They had no children together.

Mrs. John Corcoran, age 91, of Oshkosh, WI, died at 12:50pm Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh. She had been ill one day.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Oshkosh. The Rev. William Rickert officiated. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Stevens Point.

The former Mary T. Karner was born December 15, 1881, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Karner. She married Peter Schmidt in June 1906. She married John Corcoran in October 1922, and her second husband died in 1933.

Mrs. Corcoran operated the concession stand at Iverson Park for 17 years and had resided in Oshkosh since 1968. While living in Stevens Point.

Mrs. Corcoran was a member of St. Joseph's Church and was a member of that parish's St. Anne Society.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Marie) Dobrinsky, Redgranite; two brothers, Frank Karner, Minneapolis, MN, and Peter, Pontiac, MI; one sister, Mrs. Madge Hawkins, Sunland CA, 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
