Nancy Garrison Winegar was born on the farm in the 8th District of Putnam County, Tennessee to Robert Mansfield Garrison and Ruth Angeline Maynard. She worked hard along with all her brothers and sisters.
Her parents moved to California in the early 1930's and had a ranch near Palo Cedro. She met Charles Winegar and married
25 Oct 1934 in Tonapah, Nye County, Nevada. Their children: Jimmy and Shirley were born in 1936 and 1939 in Redding, California.

Aunt Nancy was a loving and very kind person. She was a great cook and always welcomed many to her table. It was always fun to be able to stay at her house with all the cousins during the summer time. I always looked forward to that time.
