Knox County Kentucky marriages, Standley(?Stanley)Hatfield-married-Anna Cumstalk,- August 16, 1808, by; James Sulivan, Minister. She may also be also know as Clara Ann Comstock. Her younger sister Mary Comstock married Stanley's brother Rueben Hatfield, March 27, 1806 in Knox County, Kentucky. Ann and Mary are named as daughters in the 1802 Knox County probate for Joseph Comstock. I have been told their mother is Elizabeth Carlton.
One source names the parents of Reuben and Stanley Hatfield as Joseph's brother, Jeremiah Hatfield, born in 1750 in Virginia and Fanny Holland.
His wife Ann was living in Laurel County, Kentucky with her daughter Francis "Fannie" Hatfield Owens, her husband Reuben Owens, born 1815-1817 and her son Nelson Hatfield. Ann appears to have died Dec. 07, 1875 in Laurel County, Kentucky at the age of 95, (listed as age 70 in the 1860 Laurel County, Kentucky census with Ruben and Fanny Owens).
One of their children was Elizabeth "Betsy" Hatfield born 1809, Knox County, Kentucky married Jan. 05, 1826, Knox County, KY. to Hamilton SR. Helton.
