Mrs. Perley (Edith) Warland, 78, Humboldt, died Wednesday morning at the Humboldt County Memorail Hospital, following a long illness. Services will be 2 P.M. Saturday at Badger Lutheran Church of Badger, IA, with Rev. Duane Berg officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery of Fort Dodge, IA. Visitaion is after 2 P.M. Friday at Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt, IA.
Survivors include her husband, Perley; sons, Jesse Lewis of Fort Dodge, and James Lewis of Portland, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Cal (Doris) Winters of New Waverford, Ohio, Mrs. Dale (Bonnie) Passow of Fort Dodge, IA, and Mrs. Gordon (Linda) Seehusen of Badger, IA; 38 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harry Harris of Indianapolis, Ind., and Chester Harris of Fort Dodge, IA; and sisters, Mrs. Rex (Eva) Amlaw of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mary Beers of Humboldt, IA.
Edith Harris was born at Algona, IA and raised and educated at Madelia, Minn. She married Jesse Lewis in 1923, and they made there home in Fort Dodge, IA, most of there married life. He died in 1957. She was married to Perley Warland in 1958. In 1980, the couple moved to Humboldt, IA.
She was a member of Badger Lutheran Church of Badger, IA, and Royal Neighbors of America Lodge of Humboldt, IA.
