Mary Etta Beers, 93, of Humboldt, died Oct. 19, 2004, at Trinity Reginal Medical Center at Fort Dodge, IA.
Graveside Memorial Services will be at 1:oo p.m. Saturday at Union Cemetery, Livermore, IA; with the Methodist Pastor of Humboldt, IA doing the services. The Mason-Lindahrt Funeral Home, Humboldt is entrusted with the arrangements. The body was cremated.

Surviving her are two daughters: Kay Gerard and her husband Patrick of San Diego, CA, and Bonnie Stockfleth and her husband Gordon of Humboldt, IA; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law Viola Harris of Fort Dodge, IA. She joins in Heaven her husband; Parents; sisters: Mildred, Minnie, Eva, and Edith; brothers: Chester, Harry, and Dan; grandparents; sons: Merlin and Donald; daughter: Donna Allen; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Etta Harris, the daughter of Charles R. and Alta E. (Jones) Harris, was born Nov. 3, 1910, at Algona, IA. And was raised in the Humboldt area. She was united in marriage to Murril Beers on Sept. 21, 1926 at Fort Dodge, IA. And the couple made their homes in Humboldt, Livermore, Mankato, MN, and Hampton, IA. Mr Beers passed away in 1964 and she returned to Humboldt where she was employed in the county home and housekeeping. Later she returned to Hampton and returned to Humboldt following the death of her daughter Donna.

Mary was raised of the Christian/ Methodist Faith, and was involved with the Methodist Churches in the areas in which she lived. The pastor of the Methodist Church of Humboldt, IA, performed the Graveside Memorial Services.
