Kin Of Carnegie Woman Dies At Thomas Hospital

Funeral service for Mrs. Ida Viola Crowder of Thomas, sister-in-law of Mrs. Nora Crowder, were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist at Thomas. Burial was in the Thomas cemetery. Rev. Chas, Y. Pickens, Rev. Elmer F. Hadden and Rev. Clyde Rodolph officiated at the services.

Mrs. Crowder, pioneer resident of Thomas, had spent Thanksgiving day with her son, Dr. V.F. Crowder and family at Weatherford. She returned to her home Saturday and suffered a stroke Saturday night. She died late Wednesday in the Thomas Memorial Hospital.

A native of Leavenworth, Kansas, she was 86 years old.

Mrs. Nora Crowder went to Thomas Wednesday morning to be with her sister-in-law. She returned home after the services Sunday.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Dr. V.F. Crowder, Weatherford, Eldon Crowder of Thomas, Mrs. Anneda Williams, Walsenburg, Colo., and Mrs. Jewel Jones, Thomas.
