Myrtle I. Turner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Crowder, of Custer City, Oklahoma, was born November 6, 1893, and passed into the life eternal July 7, 1943, at the age of 50 years, 8 months and one day.

She taught school in Custer County sometime before her marriage to Arthur S Turner. To this union three children were born, two boys and one girl. Mr. and Mrs. Turner moved from Custer county to Wichita, Kansas, where they resided a number of years. Later, on account of Mr. Turner's health, they moved to Peoria, Arizona, where she passed away after an illness of several months.

Left to mourn their loss are her Husband, two sons, R.B. and Tom, one daughter, Mrs. J.D. Owens, 4 grandchildren, all of Peoria, Arizona, her parents, Mr.& Mrs. T.E. Crowder of Custer City , two brothers, Vernon of Corn, Oklahoma and Elton of Thomas,Oklahoma, two sisters Mrs. Fred Williams of Walsenburg, Colorado and Mrs. Walter Jones of Thomas, Oklahoma, several aunts and uncles and host of friends. Her parents, with one brother and two sisters attended the funeral.

The deceased was laid away in Double Butte Cemetery, near Phoenix, Arizona.
