Rites of Shattuck Doctor To Be Held At Independence
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Independence church for Dr. Eldred A. Crowder, 43 of Shattuck, who died Saturday at the home of his parents in Independence following a lingering illness.
Burial will be made in the Independence cemetery with the Kern and Schneider funeral home in charge of arrangements. Reverend Grindstaff of Shattuck will be in charge of the services.
Crowder is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. B. H. Mayfield of Medina, Texas, and Billie Jean of the home address; one son, Allison of the home address; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Crowder of Independence; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Turner of Peoria, Ariz., Mrs, Fred Williams of Walsenberg, Colo., and Mrs. Walter Jones of Thomas; and two brothers, Dr. V. F. Crowder of Corn, and Elton E. Crowder of Thomas.
