Margaret E. Dance

OGDEN - Mrs. Margaret Etherington Dance 76, native of West Weber, died Friday at 11:15p.m. at the family residence there after a two - years illness.
A lifelong resident she had been active in the work of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints in the ward organization for most of her life.
This work included Relief society and Sunday school instruction, genealogy research and temple work, and affiliation with the Genealogical society and daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She was born July 31, 1872, in West Weber, daughter of Thomas and Margaret Newby Etherington. On March 17, 1889 she was married to Henry B. Dance in the Salt Lake LDS temple.
Survivors include the husband and the following sons and daughters: Leland Dance, Oakland, Cal.; Henry T. Dance, Riverdale, John E. Dance, West Weber; Floyd Dance, Wilson; Mrs. Margaret Etherington and Mrs. Frances Maw, Ogden; 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; a brother and a sister: James Etherington, Ogden; and Mrs. Esther McFarland West Weber.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the West Weber chapel by C. Milton Farr, bishop.
Friends may call at Lindquist and Sons' funeral chapel in Ogden Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and at the residence in West Weber Monday afternoon and evening and Tuesday to 12:30p.m.
Burial will be in Ogden Cemetery.
