WIFE OF HYRUM GOODALE DEAD

Mrs. Sarah Jane Etherington Goodale, age 70, wife of Hyrum Goodale, died in a local hospital Monday evening at 8 o'clock following an illness of one week. The home is at 2363 Jackson Avenue. She was born in Slaterville on January 30, 1860, a daughter of Thomas and Sarah Wheeler Etherington. She was an active worker in the Thirteenth ward church. Surviving are the husband and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. J. R. McCrodan, Lovelock, Nev.; Thomas H. Goodale, Riverdale; Mrs. A.G. Clark, San Francisco; Mrs. M. J. Phillips, Pacific Grove, Calif.; Mrs. L. M. Hilton, Ogden; Seventeen grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: John N. Etherington, Ogden; George W. Etherington, Burley, Ida.; James Etherington, Mrs. James McFarland, Mrs. C.D. McFarland, Mrs. Peter McFarland, Mrs. Joseph Blanch, Mrs. Henry Dance, Mrs. Nathaniel Montgomery, all of West Weber. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Larkin & Sons.
