Mrs. Beeler and her husband, Herman E. Beeler, were married Aug. 2,1946. They lived in Tionesta for 20 years before moving to their present residence in 1985.
Prior to moving to Tionesta, she and her husband owned and operated the Pennsylvania Lunch Room
on West Main Street, Waynesboro, for a number of years. After moving to Tionesta, she was a cook at the
Knotty Pine Restaurant for 10 years. She retired in 1982.
Mrs. Beeler was a member of Blue Rock United Church of Christ, Tomstown.
She also was a member of the National AARP.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Beeler is survived by one daughter, Linda G. Hockenberry of Waynesboro; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and two sisters, Ethel Mentzer, a resident of Franklin County Nursing Home, Chambersburg, and Tressie Bryan of Waynesboro.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Services will be held at 3:30 pm. Tuesday in Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with the Rev. Irvin T. Shultz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Quincy Township.
