Born Nov. 4 1894 in Fairview, Quincy Township, she was the duaghter of the late Andrew and Edith Wade Monn. She was a lifelong resident of the Fairview area. She was married to John A. Rock who died August 6, 1951.
In her early life she was employed at the Waynesboro Laundry for a number of years.
She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy F. Butts of Waynesboro; two sons, Orson A. Rock and Richard M. Rock, both of Fairview; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren and four sisters, Ethel Mentzer of Quincy, Olive Bonebrake of Greencastle and Thelma Beeler and Tressie Bryan, both of Waynesboro.
Mrs. Rock was preceeded in death by one daughter, two sons, three brothers and four sisters.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Grove Funeral Home, with the Rev. Henry W. Socks officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. The family will recieve friends tomorrow from 7-9 p.m.
