Mrs. Peter (Anna) Brandt, 95, formerly a resident of St. Anna, died this morning at Willowdale Nursing Home, New Holstein, where she had resided for the past 12 years.
The former Anna Steffes was born November 13, 1888, in St. Joe, daughter of Jacob and Gertrude Dietzen Steffes. She attended St. Joe Catholic School. She married Peter Brandt on October 13, 1914, at St. Anna Catholic Church, St. Anna. The couple farmed in St. Joe, later living in Kiel before moving to St. Anna. Mrs. Brandt was a member of St. Anna Catholic Church, its Christian Mothers Society and the Catholic Knights.
She is survived by her husband of Willowdale Nursing Home; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Lucy) Heus, of New Holstein; Mrs. William (Blanche) Broehm, rural Menasha; one son, Lester, St. Anna; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Josie Brandt, New Holstein. Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
