Mrs. Peter Weber, 52, passed away at noon Tuesday, may 25, at St. Vincent hospital, Green Bay, where she had been a patient for two weeks. Her death was caused from an embolism.

Before her marriage she was Miss Elizabeth Steffes. She was born Sept. 19, 1884, in the town of Marshfield, Fond du Lac County and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Steffes. On February 21, 1911, she was married at St. Joe to Peter Weber.

Mrs. Weber is survived by her husband, Peter, and five children, Othmar of Spring Valley, Reuben of Random Lake, Cecilia Jensen, Chilton, Cleophine and Paul at home; her father, Jacob Steffes, St. Anna; one brother, Joseph Steffes; and three sisters, Mrs. Peter Brandt, Mrs. Al Brandt and Mrs. John Buechel, all of St. Anna.

Mr. and Mrs. Weber and their family went from Marytown to Dakota in 1931 and in 1934 came to Chilton, where they have since resided.

The body will lie at the Pfeffer Funeral Home until Friday morning when funeral services will be held from the funeral home to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The requiem mass will be said by the Rev. H. E. Hunck Friday morning. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
