Frank Kubik, 73, of 183 Chestnut St, Springfield, died Tuesday in a local nursing home. He was born in West Springfield, March 17, 1899, and lived in Springfield for 50 years. He was employed by the Empire Mailing Service of Springfield as a printer for 50 years until he retired in 1964. He was a member of St. Michael's Cathedral.
He leaves his wife, Ethel Kubik; two sons, a stepson and a brother Lewis of Springfield. The funeral will be Friday at Curran-Jones funeral home West Springfield, followed by a liturgy of Christian burial in St. Michaels Cathedral. Burial will be in St Thomas Cemetery West Springfield.
