Rites Are Friday For Joseph Kubik
Joseph Kubik died Tuesday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Compton of 15 Donald St. He was born in Bohemia and had lived in this city for 15 years. He was a former resident of West Springfield. He was a retired cigar maker. He was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Church. Survivors besides his daughter, are three sons, Frank and Louis, both of Springfield, and William of West Springfield; three grandsons; a great-grandaughter; a brother, Amos, of Provincetown, and three sisters, Mrs. Anna Houle of this city, Mrs. Josephine Brown of West Springfield, and Mrs. Rose Goff of Wysox Pa. The funeral will be from the Curran-Jones funeral home Friday at 8:15am follwed by a solemn high requiem mass in the Blessed Sacrament Church at 9am Burial will be in St Thomas Cemetery.
