William Kubik, 59, of 79 Baldwin St, West Springfield, died Wednesday in Springfield Hospital. He was born in West Springfield Oct. 28, 1903, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Yelinek) Kubik and was a lifelong resident there. He attended St. Ann's Church, West Springfield, and had been employed by Springfield Glaze Paper Co. and the West Springfield Water Department. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Pearl (Marsh) Kubik; two brothers, Frank and Louis Kubik, both of this city; a sister, Mrs. Mary Compton of this city; and three nephews. The funeral will be held at the Curran-Jones funeral home Saturday at 8 a.m. with a requiem high mass in St. Ann's Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, West Springfield. Visiting hours are tonight from 7 to 10 and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.
