Mrs Mary R (Kubik) Compton, 67, of 15 Donald St was found dead in bed Wednesday afternoon by Mrs. Arthur L Archambault of the same address. Dr Harry G Tapp, associate medical examiner, said death was due to natural causes. Born in West Springfield, Oct 11, 1898, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Yelinek) Kubik, she lived in this area all her life. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She was the widow of Robert W Compton who died in 1959. Mrs. Compton leaves a son Robert McKenna of Agawam; two brothers Frank and Louis Kubik, both of this city; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at Curran-Jones funeral home Saturday at 8 with requiem high mass in Blessed Sacrament Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Visiting hours are tonight from 7 to 9 and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
