Dallas Ray Allcock, 82, of Route 1, Rustburg, VA, died Monday at his home. His wife is Pauline Wilson Allcock.

He was born in Bedford County January 6, 1902, a son of the late Elijah F. Alcock and Adelia Leftwich Alcock. He was the retired owner and operator of Colonial Restaurant and Motel on U.S. 29 south of Lynchburg and a member of White's United Methodist Church and of the Antique Car Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Raymond Allcock of Monroe and Carroll Allcock of Rustburg; one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Parker of Rustburg; two brothers, Arnold Alcock of Lynchburg and Randolph Alcock of Herndon; four sisters, Mrs. Reva Williams of Herndon, Mrs. Myrtle May of Lynchburg, Mrs. Sarah Reynolds of Bedford and Mrs. Eloise Beckstrom of Evington; 10 grandchildren, Ray Allcock, Kay A. Thornton, Martha Fay A. Knowles, Mary Gay A. Knowles, Rodney Parker, Alan Parker, Vivian Parker, Chris Parker, Mark Allcock and Cheryl Allcock; seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel by the Revs. Van Cash, Kerry Boggs and Howell Franklin. Internment will be in Virginia Memorial Park, Bedford County, VA.
