Reva D. Williams of Reston, passed away Friday, November 3, 2000, at Countryside Assisted Living in Sterling.
She was born April 9, 1903, in Forest to the late Elijah F. and Adelia A. Leftwich Alcock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude E. Williams, Sr.
She is survived by her children, Claude E. Williams, Jr., of Lynchburg, Richard M. Williams of Sandy Level, and Bettie W. Thacker of Herndon; her sister, Eloise Beckstrom of Evington. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elsen Street, Herndon.
Graveside services willl be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Herndon United Methodist Church, 701 Bennett Street, Herndon, VA 20170 or to a charity of choice.
