Olga A. Tatkenhorst

Olga Anna Marie Tatkenhorst, nee Wiegert, was born on March 18, 1896, near Lincoln, Kan. On April 5, 1896, she was baptized in St. John Lutheran Church. She renewed her baptismal vow by the rite of confirmation on April 9, 1911. On Aug. 25, 1918, she was united in marriage with Ben Tatkenhorst. She remained a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church until her death. She had been in failing health for some time and departed this life on June 9, 1968, at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 21 days.

They made their home on a farm southeast of Lincoln until 1943 when they moved to Lincoln, Kan.

Their marriage was blessed with three daughters; Velma Bartels, Alice Hearn and Ruth Zier, all of Lincoln.

Her passing is mourned by her husband, her daughters; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; also by one sister, Mrs. Irene Wolting of Lincoln and many other relatives and friends.
