Charles W. Woodring, Waynesboro Route 1, died at his home Saturday morning, aged 61.
Born in Fairfield, the son of the late George and Ann (Carson) Woodring, he was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Owls Club of Waynesboro.
Surviving, besides his wife, Mrs. Alice (Keckler) Woodring, are the following children: Charles, Hagerstown; George, Roy, Mrs. George Reed, Edgar, and Mrs. Lloyd Hade all of Waynesboro; Mrs. Marshall Snyder, Greencastle; Mrs. James Carbaugh, York, Pa.; Henry, Smithsburg; Cpl. Aaron Woodring, U. S. Army; and Arthur and Merle both at home; brothers and sisters, John, Michigan; Mrs. Ethel Miller, Topton, Pa.; Mrs. Amos Sanders, Mrs. Ira Snowberger and Mrs. Russell Oller, all of Waynesboro, and Hiram, Emmitsburg; and 24 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Poe Funeral Home, Waynesboro by the Rev. Dr. B. Clinton Ritz, assisted by the Rev. Samuel P. Wolgemuth. Interment in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 9 p. m.
