Funeral services for Gladys Lavina Ballenger, 76, Broken Bow, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, in Govier Brothers chapel with Pastor Oliver W. Brock officiating. Mrs. Ballenger died Friday, April 24, in the Community Hospital.

Surviving are two daughters, Ruby Campbell and Thelma Brakeman, Broken Bow; four sons, Carl of Overton, Clarence of Fall Creek, Ore., Arthur of Wallace, Ida. and Elmer of Lawton, Okla.; four half-sisters; and one half-brother.

Interment was in the New Helena Cemetery with Grovier Brothers Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Memorials to the Jennie M. Melham Memorial Hospital Building Fund may be sent in care of the Community Hospital, Broken Bow. (Custer County Chief, Broken Bow, NE, May 4, 1970)
